    I'm going to be making my t-case skid crossmember this weekend and was planning on using this stuff for the mounts. The U bracket is 1/4" thick and the flat plate is 1/8" thick and is cut into a 5" x 5" square. The bolt is 7/16 (I think) and the DOM is super thick. I was planning on using 3/8" thick steel for the mounts instead of the u bracket but the bracket will cut out alot of fab work. I'll probably use 1" square tubing for the crossmember and maybe double it up if I feel it Isn't strong enough. Does anyone see any problems as far as bending or something else? Oh also, the flat plate will be completely welded to the frame and maybe have a couple of plug welds and the u bracket will be then be welded to that.

    Got tired of this rolling around in the backseats so I did this.

    3 sheet metal screws and an inch of aluminum tube did the trick.

    And it is pointing down now hahaha, just took the picture when I had fitted it
