Got the itch to deep 6 another transmission?

 

I got a cool tool to loosen my brake lines! I was starting to round the nut with a standard 10mm wrench but I got one that has 5 sides on it to grab the bolt fully. It slips over the hard brake line and hopefully that will allow me to install my toytec extended brake lines

 

Dang, you guys should see the rust I complain about..

I was making fun of you. They are open-ended line wrenches, also called flare nut wrenches by a select few. It was just so funny that you've never seen one before.

I will love you when you bring that bug guard up here though.

Hells if I know. I can tell you right now I perked right up when I saw those pictures of a sand run out there in that neck of the woods. That looked like a lot of fun. I apparently need to find my way down there.

WTF with the rust....

My '02 has NEVER looked like that...He!!,When it went in for "re-frame" it looked better than those....

Now granted,mine never "keeps" anything that "special" on it for long...

During the winter it sees the "over & under" car wash weekly and during warmer months EVERYTHING gets touched up on a regular basis...

$hit I feel guilty not buffing out "trail stripes",never mind "playing" all week in the sand/dust bowl....

Alex, If you are going to "wrench" on your Toyotas full time, a set of these would make your life easier

 

Angle grinder with a wire wheel will tear that down the quickest.

My rate is 4 beers an hour 3rdhour is half off and from there it just goes down hill at a fairly quick rate.

 

Yeah I got those flare nut wrenches. Never seen em before and the woman pointed them out to me at autozone. Instant buy. Life should be somewhat easier now....

Hoping to tackle my extended lines tomorrow morning before meeting up with 650H1 to trade off some tires (and maybe hit some trails). A twisted sort of double date haha. Both of us are bringing our female companions.

I'm glad to go full SS lines front and rear. Always great to have a firmer pedal.
