    Icon experience for comparison-
Put regular travel Icon C/Os up front, regular Icons in rear, and the Icon AAL, without the overload, on my 2013 Access Cab.
Way better ride on the street.
Still some stiffness at really low speed offroad, but smoother than stock SR5 suspension by a mile.
But start carrying any speed (>20mph) on a rough road and the Icons just eat the bumps. Almost scary how smooth the ride gets when carrying any speed.
    Absolutely no comparison to stock.

Im guilty to this as I damn sure wouldn't have dared bought one otherwise and probably wouldn't have vibs if I would have done the leaf pack.

DR coilovers AAl 285 kelly safaris lightbar/skidplate need more!
I just made some add a leafs out of old leafs from an old chevy or something sitting in my parents barn and cut them a little shorter since they had a pretty good arch and put them on and it was a little nose high but not too bad--but made the ride alot nicer since when i bought my truck it had a one inch block... the tsb is only if they didnt put it on your truck in the first place right?

I left the C/Os at the height they were sent at, giving about 1 3/4" in front.
Rear AAL took it up about 1 1/2".
I'll do some measurements today now that I have about 500 miles on the suspension.

Had a full set on my tundra 6" lift and loved them, if I can save up, I will be going with them again, call and talk to (i think) Brad at Icon. Cant beat the customer service they have either.

Which ever you get make sure to get the "extended" or "lifted" application. I have the King OE series coilover on the front, they been doing ok, but blackhawk88 figured out how to buy a standard coilover from king and use some adapters and got an 1" more travel than the OE series kings at a bit less cost.

As for the rear, the King OE series shocks aren't long enough with my All Pro EXPO leaf packs. My procomp shocks were longer by almost 2". Granted I'm on aftermarket leafpack, but something to keep in mind, if you plan to upgrade in the future. Right now I'm running BAMF shock relocation kit and 12" 2.0 King Shocks in the rear. My leaf pack is my limiting factor now, not the shocks.

Don't be starting the coilover drama, you already dodged a big hating bullet over your Baja suspension! :p

I've had both ICON as well as KING. I like the Kings much more but the ICON's aren't bad by any means.

I'm partial to Icons. But that is because I have them. I love the way they ride

Is this the rear leaf pack you got?

    http://downsouthmotorsports.com/i-4...oma-6-lug-05-current-rear-add-a-leaf-kit.html

Is the low speed stiffness you are mentioning in the rear as well as the front?

Did u have the icon stage 2? Which rode better for my type of offroading? Also, which lift looked nicer?

The Kings ride better at low speeds imo. Look is a matter of personal opinion. It is basically a color choice. I had the Icon extended travel coilovers with total chaos uca's and All Pro leaf pack with 5150s in the rear.

    That's the AALs.
By low speed stiffness I'm comparing them to the OME stuff in my old XJ, which is butter on slow crawls but a bit sloppy at speed.
Compared to stock (SR5) the ride is better all the time. Speed bumps are softer with Icons than stock.
It is noticeable to me that the faster I go the more complete absorption of bumps, potholes, ruts. Goes along with what I understand about digressive damping.
Back end is same as the front end now, better than with the stock leafs.
Of course that is with just me, no passenger and no load in the back.
Will find out this weekend how things are in the backwoods.:D

    Icon/All Pro.....chopped for 35's
Icons got the CDC controls now and can be dialed in soft or firm depending on your terrain. Their digressive valving is on the rebound side and stabilizes the shock from rebounding too quickly from a big hit......so for all those saying the digressive is stiffer on the street they're mistaken. Most will never feel the difference and correct spring rate with minimal preload will dictate the ride!

Get extended travel whatever you go with!

Pick a color dude or the one with the best deal!
