Hand brake relocation

    I have been wanting/wondering if it is possible to relocate the e brake where it is on 4runners on a first gen tacoma has anyone done this or had any experience with it?

    I'm relocating mine. I did this on my 85 4Runner and it was easy, although I was using a APOR T-case brake. I used a shorter brake line from a toyota van which is thicker and won't break like the originals always do. The older 80's vans have a center e-brake. That's the brake handle I used then. The one I'm using now is out of a Mitsubishi Outlander along with the center console. Now I have cup holders in between the seats. The original center console was missing when I got the truck. Will finish the hand brake this weekend.
