Perfect fit!


Now I can install my Rocky Mounts 9mm clutch bicycle fork mounts

 

Spent money on it. Light bar, lights, switches.

 

Made apt to have door speakers replaced...pioneer. Factory sucks.

Thanks! But nah, not worried about the dissimilar metal corrosion. They wont stay there. Just for bike trips. I was gonna make them out of stainless, but didn't feel like tapping 316 plate with 1/4-20...
I knew they'd be in and out a lot so I didn't want any hard metals chewing up the rails either.

 

I only have dry moly and copper grease at home. I have heard weird stories about copper grease and aluminum...

Painted the Chrome of my grill. Went to Autozone and got the primer and Dupli-Color matched Super White. Finished it with some Enamel Laquer. Turned out pretty good!

I installed my aluminum headache rack with stainless through bolts and they started to corrode the aluminum after about a year

 

I have a titanium one

 

Galvanic corrosion is no joke tho. We deal with it everyday in the shipyard. Dunno why the navy started building ships out of aluminum...
If the joint stays dry or filled with grease, its usually okay for awhile. That's why doording suggested anti seize. It needs an electrolyte to occur.
