Honestly, I am liking what have been seeing from this year's D than last year's. It just seemed that the big noses didn't want to play - and Gathers should have never left. But it is what it is... Just seems like this year's group really wants it or has that fire more than last year's did. On the plus side, we are much deeper than before on the D, too...

Here's to a 10-3 season

 

We should win the conference and be in a BCS game. But we lost the only players that actually tackled on defense last season. If this years defense doesn't improve it will be another disappointing 9 win season with another nobody cares bowl game.

 

If we have a nine win season, we'll party like we won the national title. Count your blessings sir.

 

....not counting the last 2 seasons we've had, we would usually be cheering with 9 wins also. I think this is the year that we fall back to mediocrity.

It's unfortunate that Russell through that late pick six. We could have pulled within six points and gone for an onside kick.

 

I just watched the last 3 min of that game. Yeah that pic screwed em', hell, the pass before that one shoulda been a TD had he thrown to the middle of the field.

 

We were also in the redzone earlier, and he was sacked on 3rd and 4th down. Hopefully he's worked on his timing and the O-Line has learned to give him more than 2 seconds to throw the ball. Oh, and the defense needs to play competitively as well.

 

I watched highlights of the SECCG a couple days ago. I just wanna hear Verne Lundquist's voice again...

Hearing that music then hearing his voice, you know it's a big game. Heck...you know it's college football. I'm having withdrawls. I feel like a meth head.
