    TRD super charger, URD fuel mods and 2.1 super grip pully, Headers, 2.5" glass pack, Dana 60 front 4 linked, 14bolt rears on chev 63's, 5.38 gears, ARB locker in the front, PSC full hydraulic steering, 18" SAW 2.5" triple rate coils overs, FOA 2.5 air bumps, B&M launch controls, B&M trans cooler, 4 alpine 6X8 type R's amped, Red led rock lights, CBI front and rear bumpers (my design) CBI sliders, 4 riggid dualys front 2 in the rear, custom track bar, ARB snorkle, warn VR8000 winch, Viair 480c twin compressers..
    I dont know about slick rock but thus far they have out performed my Procomps, Mud graplers, and KM2's.

    Edit: wheeled the truck so hard this last weekend i tore the frame where the track bar mount is welded to the frame. Ben and I replaced the broken part with 1/4 plate.

    nothing but great things to say about these things out there

    you'll notice them chirping a lot on the slick rock..but they loved to grab the rock and pull me right up ledges, held their own on the loose stuff and the larger tires were nice to have on some obstacles

    they air down great as well...had them down to 16psi all week with no issues

    only downfall is that i see them wearing pretty fast already. i'll be rotating them this weekend and probably rotating every month really.

    I just made a similar purchase, arrived yesterday. I got the Cardone CV for a trail spare, and a pair of the Moog TRE, both inner and outer.

    Question, my current tie rods have just a bit of play in them, should I be proactive and replace them with the new Moog ones and then keep the old ones for trail spares, or just carry them along in case of emergency?

    If it ain't broke, don't fix it; or fix it til its broke?

    I don't really mind, but if replacing them ahead would avoid a likely failure on the trail, that would be preferable. At this point I am leaning toward holding off and just carrying the new ones to install after the trip. I will probably need an alignment after Moab anyway!

    Good to hear. It's sad that I've had my MTRs for a couple months now and Moab will be the first time they've really seen dirt/rocks. :eek: Stupid work.

    16psi eh? Maybe your truck is a bit heavier than mine but I'm generally closer to 12psi in Moab.

    i've been used to duratracs recently and i didn't dare take those down even to 16psi unless it was deep snow

    plus my duratracs and these are both D rating, so they bulge more than E rating tires..and i would think the weight may effect mine more than a 1st gen

    I run 10-8 PSI in moab on 35 12.50R15 with a 6K truck.

    I am using pizza cutters (255/85 E-rated km2) and I'm not sure what truck weighs guessing about 5k maybe 5500 when fully loaded with gear. But is 15psi too low?

    No sidewall damage that low? That seems pretty low for Moab type terrain.

    Km2's have more ply so you can run really low psi on those bad boys

    Yeah I think most people run too high of pressure most of the time. The liklihood of losing a bead is not as scary as some would make you believe especially if you are running the right width of wheel for the tire.

    On my Land Cruiser which is much heavier I run 15-17 psi in moab.

    15psi is a good starting point for most tires in Moab. But like rctoy, don't mind running them lower as they hook up better.

    Idk I've always run them like that on the sharp and rocky trails over here in utah and I have never had the side walls rip. but I think 15 psi will be good. I really don't care if it comes to rip. I have warranty
