"YO" on the tailgate old school style

When I was a kid this was the coolest thing you could do to your Toyota truck so I'm bringing back the 80's in my area. I'm hoping it catches on

This will happen to mine over time as the "TOYOTA" fades away.

 

The only YO i know of is if you are from Philly, & saying hello.

 

I guess it depends where you are from. Old school in Miami was "TOY" on the rear.

 

Also, don't forget about the Yosemite Sam mud flaps!

 

This is old school where I grew up. Some of my classmates use to get the lettering for the windshield that said John's Toy or some shit.

 

Only seen it in a couple of old school Toyota hardbody.

i thought it was cool back in the day so i voted 'fun, but not for me'. typically, i fit in the 'i hate the world' category though.

actually, now i'm considering this for my 2nd gen. i think it's a nice nod to the past.

Seen it around before, always seemed like they were all pre-Taco.

 

Same as making it say "taco" or "coma" "Toy" or "yota".. they aren't for me, but I understand people like to make it their own.

 

YOYLET refers to a Toyota with a Chevy 327 engine in it. Often done to old Land Cruisers and you'll see a Chevy bow tie on the grill of most of them.

 

Always thought TONKA was pretty funny.
