Thought this would be a good place to post your favorite eats/hole in the wall places since I didn't see a thread on this.

So to start it off since I work in waiks and always pass by this place, it's worth mentioning.

 

This used to be the HOLE IN THE WALL choice spot after clubs back in my day...

 

X2 on Rainbow Drive Inn

Blazin steaksKailua was really good and the one off Dillingham was decent too.

Pho and Company, Pho 1...I only had bad pho at one restaurant.

Leeward Drive Inn

 

Since you guys go out to Kaena Point a lot, stop in Wailua at Paalaa Kai Mini Mart for some Fried Chicken and Musubi. They also usually have all kinds of Bentos.


$3.50 for 2pc chicken and a musubi, you can also get 10pc chicken in a tray for like 10.00...supah ono!


Then go next door to Paalaa Kai Bakery and get some Snow Puffies.

Alicia's market is bomb
I always go Giovanni's when going ns side or kahuku
Pho thinh on king st by mccully bike is bomb
Zaratez Mexican
Elena's when I need the Pilipino fix
3660 on the rise is the shit but expensive but bomb

I agree with Alicia's Sweet Onion Tako Poke is the BEST on the island!



Their plate lunches are great too

Smoked Prime Rib with Ahi Poke Plate and Crab Potato Mac Salad

Yess! Alicia's is a long time favorite. Love their roast pork plate

 

Yup after the club this was the spot

 

I like almost every thing from Alicia's plate lunch char siu roast pork and poke plate and the baked ahi is bomb there abalone Taegu poke and all there poke is the best on the island to me

redlantern- all these places are by me. gotta try out tenkaipan for ramen and side street in also, which is all by the starbucks by date and kapahulu. also worth mentioning is uncle bo's.

 

Yes all great places. Just had side street last night. Never had uncle bos yet. Hear they were good. Also wanna try tenkaipan as well!

 

Since tenkaipan was mentioned, I recommend checking out Goma Tei for the Spicy Tan Tan Ramen.

 

Goma tei is good too! Pork Charsiu ramen always hits the spot.

 

KnK in Kailua next to island snow is my favorite plate lunch place.. Can order anything and bit be disappointed.

Dirty lickens next to aiea bowl got the best fried chicken wings!

 

Cinnamons in Kailua is a great breakfast spot. Red velvet pancakes....

 

Chodang by ala moana. Some good Korean at a good price.



Soondubu is awesome there
