You are doing it right. Attract the native insects which attract the native birds and small animals.

In reality the largest space and the only space left to plant native species is in the yards of home owners. If you plant them they will flock to your back yard. While you re at it plant a few milk weed plants.

Good luck Susan. I got hosed for sure when my neighbor died. I used to love talking to him. 80 something year old retired cop who worked till the day he died. Sadly his son is a ex junkie pos who's wife is currently hooked on pills. Their son is by far the worst child I have ever cone across. I've held back from smacking him around on more then one occasion. I haven't seen his dad work in years. Just collects gubment checks and sells drugs.

All my other neighbors are cool.

 

Sorry to hear that. It's stories like yours that keep me from doing it. I can't do contacts and glasses are getting old.


All good here. New jobs is tits. I'm on a debt reduction/reinvestment/refi kick which has been stressful. Other than that I'm looking to plan some vacations soon. It's been about five years since I last left the country and I'm jonesing to gtfo of here.
