Baja 500

this is my friends truck, its a class 7 ranger that won its class by about an hour ahead of second place, this was the first race for this truck and it worked amazing, the competition is in serious trouble

there were 2 tacomas racing in class 7, the orange truck i posted is pretty damn nice, but to be honest the other tacoma is not so.........well lets just put it this way, it needs some "changes and need to finish a damn race" its a low budget truck

Sucks what happened to alot of the racers ivan stewart going from 1st to 7th alot of the racers didnt follow the course and made their own. Awesome pics!

pics of my peeps, we had a small group this time, it was only 5 of us that headed down in my uncles titan and my tacoma, i did plenty of off-roading





i had alot of camera problems so i didnt get alot of pics, i only got a couple of the finish line



^^^^the navigator in this pic is my friend cameron, he got in the car at race mile 270 something and stayed in untill the finish line, they were about the 7th class 1 buggy to cross the finish line, he came in kinda pissed because they caught a Trophy Truck and it wouldnt give them space for the pass and they finish right on his ass

 

ivan stewart hasnt raced for years, Robby Gordon won the race but then he got penalized time for cutting the corse, stopping in the middle of the highway and pitting on it, and speeding on the highway so he got 7th, thats baja baby youll never see this in nascar

racers have been cheating for years and this year they dropped the hammer and a ton of racers got penalized, its gonna be an interesting race when the baja 1000 comes by

Hey do you need a passport to go into mexico now? Thats what I was told.

 

Definately a crazy race very interesting they really did lay down the hammer, but it shows you how crazy that course is

yeah that guy was getting way too close to the action, i think he didnt get the memo that cameras have zoom in buttons

you dont need a passport to go to mexico but you do need it to get back to the states

to the people who never been to a baja race, i HIGHLY suggest you guys down there in november for the baja 1000, its something you gotta experience to really understand it, theres nothing in the world like it

 

before when you crossed back in a car or on foot, all you needed was a id, we used to use our california id's but that doesnt fly anymore, now you need a passport to get back in it doesnt matter if your in a car or on foot

 

Keep us posted and maybe Ill roll down there with you. I have always wanted to.

 

ill let you know, i dont know if im just gonna go with my peeps and just be spectating or go chase for my friends team, so if go and spectate ill let you know, just have your pass port ready and after the race its mandatory to drop by paris to check out the local talent lol that strip club is the devils place but we all keep going back
