I have one in my XJ. Works awesome. Though it certainly complicates driving in snow if you have one in the front.

I didn't think you wanted my wheels cause they were starting to show they weren't perfect, or did you just want a wheel/tire combo to do a straight across swap? I was going to sell you just the wheels but you didn't seem interested.

Do any of the 4Runners for your year have factory lockers? You might be able to get ahold of one of those and swap the guts into your housing or just swap axles.

Who makes those little spacers, I didn't think they had spacers that small. Is it like a larger washer? I imagine you just need a special lug nut that is a little longer?

I was given a Daewoo in college as a promotion when they first entered the market (1998). They did not do a media blitz, instead they gave cars to people and loaded the trunks with pamphlets and other promotional goods. The idea was that you would be out and about and the vehicle would get noticed or questions asked and the driver would hand out that stuff. Well, at the end of 6 months with my green Leganza, loaded with all they offered, the trunk was still full and the car smelled like my dorm room plus oil. It was awesome for me, all I had to pay was gas, they paid for insurance and upkeep.

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
Bottom of the page here, , i think you can get them at places like pepboys or advanced auto parts. I dont really know much about them. The point of having spacers that small is so you dont need special lugs or hafta run big spacers that have the offset studs or however those work

LOL! And your lucky a mouse didn't fart and crumple the car. What an awful safety history that company has.

Detroits true tracs are pretty good. However they do not lock up your diffs like a lunchbox locker. And they have a history of wearing out. I would say get an Aussie locker or another like a locright. (aussie is an updated version by the designer of the locrite that the company didn't want to bother with due to change in machining for a small design change). Put it in your front diff, you will only notice it when 4wd is applied because of the front diff disconnect. It wont wear out because it wont be under constant use and it will work much better offroad. Surprisingly mine doesn't limit my steering at all.

Please note the True Trac in the Rear diff on Tims Ranger.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEq93ThJujQ Last 10 seconds or so is very typical of them.

The Eaton Elockers if that is what you mean have mixed reviews. I would not get one over an ARB. Jon in my club had them Front and Rear in his Jeep both froze up in about 2 years. They were beyond repair and ended up going from guy to guy in my club each one figured he could fix them found out he couldn't and passed it to the next guy. Finally ended up in the scrap yard.

The only 4runner that has an elocker is the 09 trail teams.

I could buy the axle from Toyota.... Might have to sacrifice an arm or a leg though. Maybe even both.

I could also buy any FJ axle and swap it in. Figure out a way to get the electronics to work?

I'll end up going ARB. I just don't want to shell out thousands for lockers. Ugh. Gotta pay to play I guess

    Thank you Evan, spacers ordered.
Not that it's related but I finally manned up and ordered a front bumper for the trail rig.
