Got it without the hammer. Now for the electrical connector.

 

Use a leather belt to grip the plastic, and a 3/4" (or so) open end wrench. Kinda like the old school filter wrenches grandpa had. Don't pound on it, the plastic is pretty brittle.

Hammer and screw driver is all I ever had to use to get them started.

 

You think so huh? Haha. Any particular reason? More broken parts, expensive tires or what?

Tried the strap thing and the hammer with a screw driver. I got it to move about 1/2" but I don't want to break it. So I'll go pick up a strap wrench in the morning and if that doesn't work I'll go see my buddy down at the dealership to see if I can borrow the special tool.

I need the god dam diff rebuild kit here by tomorrow night! But LROR didnt sent it out till 6pm TONIGHT. It is supposed to be delivered on monday...too bad i need to be in poky saturday. And konsta is going to be gone next weekend. So the only fucking hope of getting the kit is is it travels from orem utah (left at 1:54 am) and arrives in meridian before 6:30pm. If that happens i was told I can call them and have them set the package aside so I can come and pick it up, thus not needing to wait till monday for it to be delivered.

FUCK!!!!!!!!


Worst case scenario is I dont get it in time, I go to poky, I do the regear with konstas spare parts and shims, then when I get back, before lander, i pull the third and do the bearings.
