2000 and 2001 4runners have factory e lockers, and you may be able to find an axle off one at a junk yard.

 

Nice! For only $5 a piece its worth a shot right? You guys with trail rigs make me jelous. Hopefully my 09 will last long enough to be my dedicated trail rig someday

 

I'd prefer going FJ axle. It's the same axle I have

 

I bought mine when I had a '03 Silverado excab LB, not exactly a trail truck. I didn't spend an extra cent on that truck and saved my dough. Found it for $2K in CT from some drunk who owned it for a year before his wife made him sell it.

 

Just found on 120 that I can install an FJ 3rd member with the elocker assembly into my existing axle with relatively no issues! Sweeeeeeet!!!

 

Sadly yes. $200. Worth 325 in scrap and that's where it's going after. The valve cover was leaking so we at work welded it. The intake boot was torn so duct tape fixed that. Windows we removed (didn't smash) wanted to not have glass everyplace. We welded all the doors shut. Tomorrow after work we are flipping the exhaust manifold upside down and running a hood stack. I have $45 into this car not going more than 100 more. May run tubes in the tires

i really just want the rims. but rims and tires would be nice, as i dont have another set to put on.

 

I have the factory sport rims and factory tires. No stems or TPMS though.

That show is absolute shit now Jason. I give them props for being such a long lasting show, but time to take them out to the backyard with daddy's favorite 12 gauge. Take them out ol yeller style.

I stopped watching it years ago, especially when Family Guy aired. Last time I saw the Simpsons, seemed like it was trying to copy Family Guy.
