which Tacoma year is the best for TRD Sports?
I mean Toyota stopped with mechanical locker for 09 but they have all the traction control stuff on it...so mechanically and I guess safety wise, which year is the best for the TRD Sport Tacomas?
I'm assuming 08 right now but I'm usually wrong...

I think the TRD Sport models had limited slip, not a locker. The Locker is in the TRD Offroad.

    Not helping...:p
I'd swear Yota put a mechanical locker in the Sports at one point and I'm pretty sure they either dumped it in 07 or 08.

Uh...............no. It has always been a LSD until 09. The locker is only in the TRD OR.

What are you worried about it for? You are going to be stuck with the mazadazadazzzaaa:D

Hold up...I know what's on them and specs 'm sheet but I always forget about the rear axles and teh nitty gritty when it gets down to it. It's clarification for me. I picked a Tacoma because it's fuckin' awesome. I just need some nitty gritty to be cleared up. 'Nuff said.
'Scuse meh but it's Mazdaselffisterboi. And it was in a Ford. You've been making the same joke for how long and can't get it right? Jeez...:)
I'd swear to Brianr that it had a locker at one point. I know I'm looking like an idiot when I'm proven wrong but I swears it!
No way in hell will I be stuck with that damn Mazda forever! I'll sell teh damn thing and take a fat hit if I have to! :infantry::ballchain::woot:

The TRD sports have only had a lsd. Only the offroad has the locker. My personal choice is any 05-08 because they don't have any of that safety crap and that auto lsd standard like the 09s do now.
