    picked up a couple cobia last week.

    tried yesterday and today with no luck...but we got a freezer full.

    had marlin for the first time last night...went to a real nice restaurant for dads birthday. they had a seared marlin appetizer...was incredible.

    wouldnt eat it often as I see them as a gamefish..but can always try things once

    Nice, my girlfriend went to school at christopher newport, so i've driven over/through the bridge tunnel a ton and always been jealous of the guys fishing it that i drove by. never had a boat down there though.

    I'm a full time student and full time worker, with no financial support from anyone, I don't have very much if any disposable income. Right now my security system is me being 6"3 and 265lbs. Thus far, it has worked quite well. I'm big on knives, but the thugs in this city are carrying guns and almost know how to use them. I need something reliable, but I simply cannot afford a high dollar firearm. Thats why I posted, need something affordable and reliable.

    Definitely decided against hi point though. After reading hundreds of people claiming they are more useful as a meelee weapon or paper weight than a firearm. I cannot afford to waste ~$200


    I'm gonna try and get my hands on either of these and see what I like. I really like the price and looks of the Kel Tec PF9, and it is right in my price range.

    I think my next step will be taking a firearms course at one of the gun shops around here. I know how to shoot, but I'd benefit from some proper training. Eventually I plan to get a CCW for times where I feel like carrying.
