Anyone know this coilover?

Looking to buy this truck and can't figure out the brand of this coilover. Anyone know?

 

Donahue Racing, I think they got taken over but I don't remember by who

Yup, Donahoe Racing, now Icon.

 

Bingo. Donahoe = Icon. The owner had a run in and changed the name.

I ran them on my old Taco and loved them. Icon can rebuild them.

 

interesting mix of hardware holding the coilover into the bucket.

you have at least two different types of bolts on there. the one on the right is an allen, while the one on the left looks to be more a of a typical bolt. the two that you can see are also different lengths. i'm sure it's strong and safe, just caught my eye. curious what type of bolt is the third one that we can't see lol.

The hardware on those Donahoe C/Os is somewhat peculiar.

 

Ah I see what you mean now. That is strange. Does anyone happen to know what the rebuild cost of these might be?

 

it's about $35-$40 a shock for the seals,o-rings, etc. have to add in new shock oil on top of that as well. down south motorsports can rebuild them for you too. i'm sure they'd give you a quote over the phone
