The ones near the grille? I would check your connections, highly unlikely that all 3 would go out.

I've heard from many people that their LED's go out on their halo's. I don't own any but have just heard from people on this site.

the led wires are routed to a small transformer and i wonder if i could wire them directly to the battery and install a switch to control them

chances are that ur ballasts went bad, or ur connections suck. but changing leds is a breeze

+1. Don't do it without the proper resistor attached.

which ones are having the problems? The ones with the vertical leds by the grill or the other ones with leds horizontal below the headlights.

well i tried swapping out the led but it wasnt that. 4 of the leds are working now so the 2 that are left are not getting enough power cuz u can see the led light up but barely. my guess is that the ballast is screwed up. what do u suggest i do.

LEDs do not use a ballast .... you simply need a current limiting resistor in series with the feed wire. The resistor must be wattage rated.
Roughly, a 1000 ohm 5 watt resistor would do for a series of LEDs - however I'd have to see the board.... look for heated (brown stained) board or components.
Use a higher wattage resistor for replacement, of the same value.

Could be a bad solder joint, or connections. LEDs either work or don't, so it's the wiring, or cct board connections. Simply re-solder the LED connections to the cct board. That's likely all that's wrong.

Vibration related fatigue is my guess.

I own those headlights too and I hate 'em! They look cool and all but they were a b*tch to install and the little blue LEDs don't twist lock in so when ever I go wheelin' they vibrate out of their hole! They vibrated out when I was muddin' and mud actually got inside the damn head unit :-( not so much that you notice but still...i spent 200 bucks on the damn things and they've been nothing but a headache!!!!
