I'd opt for a solid punch to the throat or sternum. Not everybody has knockout power and some people can take a punch.

dont be one of the guys that knocks someone out, and then when the guy is on the ground out cold, you continue your punches/kicks.

Always open a fight with a shin kick. Hurts like crazy and no one expects a grown man to shin kick someone . . .

LOL that's awesome I never thought about shin kicking. OP to get that knock out punch hit them dead center in the chin works every time or a chop to the throat is good, you hit the nose hard enough that other guy won't want to fight anymore or it will stun him for the knockout punch. Just if you knock a guy down don't be that guy who kicks him while he's down just saying.

I have a hundred bucks that says he won't get all of his hand back if he attempts to punch a K-9 :}. You can fight and win against a dog ... It all depends on how much flesh, blood your willing to lose, or how many parts of your anatomy your willing to lose or lose the use of..... Oh and for the record lol punching a any dog over say 45 pounds or so in the skull never works out ask me how I know. Well I will tell you maybe even find the x-rays of my hand from when I broke up a dog fight. I grabbed one dog by the collar and yanked him back the other dog came in again. I meant to catch him behind the ear he turned his head caught him square in the middle of his forehead. The crack was audible from 10 feet away according to a friend of mine who came out the door to help. OUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

A buddy of mine worked as a corrections officer for a number of years. He told me about the number of guys in there that did one punch knockouts that ended up killing the opponent. Not a good idea.

This was a dig at the OP as he started a thread a few days back about how K9's are "overused" and used to violate civil liberties, and trained to kill and blah blah blah.....
