Hmmm, are they leaving the shockmount positions in the same place? If so, I guess they are simply using the extended wheel position and swing-arm geometry to give more travel?

Do they have coils they recommend, Fox, Icon, Camburg, etc.?

Kyle, if they do, might be able to get them and then add the LT kit. You'll want to do more research to make sure though.

yep your right, just extend the arms and keep same coil bucket position (for bolt on kits)

however, since the LT requires cycling a coilover over more of a distance due to more travel, the same coilover cannot be used for stock travel and long travel. LT C/O's are extended travel

A body lift. Would that make the ride around town very rough... As of now my lift is rough! Lol

 

yea probably. the word on the TW streets are 1" is alright, 2" is pushing it, and 3" is the worst.

but the question if BL's are ok is controversial

A body lift replaces the rubber body mounts with longer poly mounts. So the ride will get a little rougher but nothing crazy.

Where you have to worry is raising The body too far from the frame, causing problems at the firewall where all the connections into the cab are made. Also, a taller BL creates lever arm and shearing problems. I don't recommend anything above 1". Don't forget you'll create a gap where the bumpers meet the body unless you make some relocation plates for the bumper mount.

 

I might do a 1" body lift in the future. Just enough to provide extra tire clearence but not so much that it looks bad.

^^that is also my main concern. engineers design the lifts around those parameters but what happens in the real world is not always the same as what happens in the theoretical world
