I'm on lockdown at work right now....didn't even know who won until I looked on here.

Nope....University of Georgia baseball is lame.

 

They only have 19 wins?

 

Yup....with such a good football program it is surprising how bad they suck in baseball!

As for us....I knew Carolina would drop off some this season with the change at the head coach position. We have actually done better than I expected.

I'm not into baseball anywhere near like I am with football.....it passes the time until the fall comes.

 

He doesn't seem right. He struggled against uga and Presbyterian recently so I wasn't shocked he gave up the game. He hasn't been right since he had some tightness in his arm early in the year.

 

5 to 3, with a 2 run homer in the 10th ......and this win put us as the #4 seed in the SEC TOURNAMENT....along with a 1st round bye.

Not that it really matters for us.....we go to the World Series yet always find a way to screw up the SEC tourney.

I've been busy watching the 2012 LSU-USC football game on youtube. I miss football too much to care about baseball right now.

In relation to baseball news for MSU outside of the win: Luis Pollorena, a pitcher for MSU, has a cool story about surviving childhood cancer and took a postgame pic with Holbrook, and our catcher, Mitch Slauter, was baptized today by the team's chaplain. Pretty cool day for our baseball team.
