Hey all, im coming up on 140K and i'd like to get the valve clearances checked on my 5VZ-Fe.

I called tony divino in riverdale, and no, they are retards and dont do it (somehow is a non adjustable part.. wtf?)

I called toyota bountiful, and they can do it for a Whopping $540.

Anyone else know a shop near SLC that knows their shit when it comes to toyota's?

    (Im price shopping)

At this point, I'm really not sure of many places I'd trust. Almost every time I've had something done by someone else, I've ended up finding something wrong with what they did. Usually its something minor/insignificant, but, really, its my baby and it doesn't make me happy when I find stupid mistakes. No one takes pride or seems to have any accountability in their work anymore.

No one is ever going to take pride on someone elses car that not there own, its all business and the quicker they get done with yours the quicker they get the next person in to get another dime. If you really want to get something done right you have to do it yourself, i have never taken my truck to get repaired by someone else for the same reason. I rather read and learn and do it on my own. but if you can find someone to do it like a friend, let him do it.

    Utah members,

This is an extremely long shot but I have to try.

I have (had) a trailer stored on a piece of property near Mountain View Golf Course. I went to go pick it up to use it this weekend and it's gone. It had a hitch-lock on it. It's been stolen.

Please look at and memorize this trailer. ;-) It is very unique in that I haven't seen any like it.

    It's a Strongbox brand.
The back ramp folds in half.
    The sides are solid.
I have a spare tire on the tongue.
I have a swinging jack on the tongue with a wheel.
The tires are new and are Kenda brand.
It has a steel floor (maybe with my piece of plywood on it).

While it's not worth that much I have rewired, new bearings, and tires and I really like it. It's the perfect size for my use.

Please keep your eyes open and take a picture of the vehicle's license pulling it. I'll go recover it with the cops or my .357 magnum. I'll pay a $50 reward for info leading to its recovery with no questions asked.

    Thanks.
