Headers is a nice bolt on for N/A engine. Doug Thorley long tube Headers or JBA will are the top contenders. URD makes a nice y-pipe. To get the most out of an intake look into URD's MAF calibrator

If you really want power best to go put on some kind of forced induction wether it be s/c or turbo'd

Do NOT free up the exhaust en tooo much without going forced induction or your low end tq will be lost.

I screwed up....ur benefit is to do as I say and not as I do :)

I installed doug thorely long tubes (deletes front cats), urd y pipe (deletes rear cats), and prolly worst of all a 3" exhaust on top of all that.

I hated my truck more than u can imagine.....it felt gutless off the line.

Granted I added waay too much at 1 time to tell u what made the most impact....

Short tube headers retain cats and are supposed to retain low end tq.

The only way I got the tq back (and then some obviously) was by getting a supercharger......now, I may love the truck now, but it was a very expensiv3 mistake that got me here and cost me an extra 4grand to fix all the n/a mods.

If u go with the maf calibrator, make sure u can tune it or get it tuned....it leans the mixture, and if ur not careful u can do serious damage.

Id also contact gadget and make sure he has install instructions for the 2013 in case the wires colors/pins have changed.

U will have to solder all connections into your ecu.... do not crimp or use t taps. There's also no plug n play kit for the 2009+ unless u go with the kit that user "nut" sells/used to sell.

Urd cannot get the proper connectors to make a plug n play harness due to what I assume is a copyright issue on a propriatory plug.

I forgot to mention the years in my statement there so really it's only good for 05-08, don't think the XSP version of the taco will go with the MAF calibrator

wut? xsp doesn't have anything different, mechanical, then any other v6 taco. if just has rims and misc exterior and interior parts. 05-08 are able to have plug in connectors whereas newer models have to be wired in.

I don't think he was stating what yrs toyota offered xsp..........just that they are no different other than cosmetics than any other 05+ tacoma V6.

He is stating that URD does not offer a plug and play harness for any tacoma after 2008 models due to a change in the ecu connectors that are not available to Gadget (urd).

    He did use a .

After that sentence... maybe it woulda been easier to notice/seperate with a seperate line?

I dunno, I understood exactly what he meant
