I doubt they cruised by and randomly chose the house, my bet is they had to respond to a call... why else would they pick 1:2,000,000 standard house.

since it was a likely call, I bet the domestic ended real quick and they started getting along when they saw police..... 3 this is the bay area, where moms think it is righteous to breastfeed with no seatbelt while going down a freeway declaring that she isn't a criminal.

Police state , really? if so they wouldn't bother with dialogue, they just charge right in.

So tiring seeing people cause the police to show up and start screaming for a search warrant. I had a neighbor call the police on their daughters sort of boyfriend who had drugs, he screamed the same crap.... blah blah warrant.. blah blah civil rights, yet his own actions made the police do something.

Try reporting on when the police did it right, there would be a ton more posts.

Nail with head up, gets the hammer.

Yea that actually looked like it started as a fairly polite initial contact that stemmed from a disturbance call... They might have had probable cause that isn't documented in the one POV of the camera on the person in the house...

Yelling and screaming and crying is NOT evidence of a crime.

People inside the home informing officers that they were fine is evidence of the people inside the home being fine.

In light of recent events, such as Jaycee Dugard and the Garridos, and more recently the Ariel Castro case... I think Domestic disturbances calls are receiving a little bit higher level of scrutiny...

The cops in this video are in the realm of "damned if you do, damned if you don't".

If they didn't enter that house, and later, it turns out he had been assaulting the wife/kids, OP would be posting a video of how these cops failed to act...

Not much experience with domestic violence, huh? Plenty of women will stick up for, even violently, a man who abuses them. Lie to cover up whats going on, ect.

I can't say what exactly happened in this video, but neither can you. For some reason I doubt that 3 police would feel the need to kick someones door in over a domestic disturbance call unless they had good reason too. I don't blindly support the police in everything they do, nor do I think they are all thugs with badges.

With what I had said ealier, if he had let them in everything would've probably been fine. If he didn't want them in the house then he should've stepped out. They were very excessive on there force though.

    Not true.

I'm curious if you are really believing what you said? I think you don't, which makes your comment quite callous to victims and police who are doing their job.

What will you do when your mouth is duct taped and some cool calm criminal says ...." sorry was just the TV". We should be so lucky on the duct tape part.

...Because nobody has ever used the threat of violence to force/coerce someone else into saying something untrue...

Being a former LEO I had to deal with DV cases all the time and yes police are allowed to enter your home with out a warrant in those cases. Just like other members said most of the woman I have talked to even if the dude beat the living crap out of them, they will say anything so he won't go to jail just saying.
