OME 3" lift with Dakar rear leaves and 883 front coils. 36x12.50 Super Swamper TSL/SXs on Pro Comp Series 97 15x8 Steelies, Bud Built Front Skid, 4xI rock sliders, 4.88s and an Eaton True Trac LSD up front, 4.88s and a Detroit Locker in the rear, LED cab clearance lights, Sway Bar Delete, Rear Diff Breather Mod, Autometer Monster Tach, Cobra 25LTD Classic, Roof-mounted 3' Firestik Firefly, Garmin GPS, HiLift Jack, Flush-mount LED pod lights in rear bumper, 28" light bar in the front bumper, rear shock relocation (Ruff Stuff brackets), u-bolt flip with Ruff Stuff Anti-wrap perches, CBI rear frame reinforcements, 10" travel Bilstein 5125 rear shocks, heavy duty front crossmember made by Allenfab, Rear shock mounts/crossmember (for upper mounts), spring perches, frame plates, and front crossmember welded in by Allenfab, CBI Ditch Light Brackets, Ditch Light Pods. AllenFab Custom Hybrid front bumper and recovery points. Drivetrain lifted 2" in conjunction with a 2" BL. Modified Trail Gear transmission crossmember/skid. Warn Xeon 10K winch. Large left side body mod.
Just out of curiosity, can you replace stock struts and coilovers in the front with those ORIs? Seems like they would solve a lot of clearance issues and be infinitely adjustable to suit individual tastes in ride height and quality.

Truck looks like it's going to be awesome, but I have to wonder, after all that effort being put into re-engineering for maximum performance on the rocks, why not run Swampers or Boggers on it for maximum grippage as well? :D

the pan held water over night! so I sanded it down and powder coated it. It's going back on the truck tomorrow it turned out pretty awesome.

And the truck is full bodied once again! Well kinda it's just siting on the frame I still need to bolt it down. The rear end is done and fully welded and "Gusseted" I still have to pull the links and weld some hard to reach spots but it's done. The front has just a little fab work left the inner frame plates and the PSC ram and it's done as well. All that's left is plumb the brakes & powder steering and install the axle and drive shafts when I get them.

This is double bump front and rear 19" at the frame just where i was sitting when it was IFS.

I didn't take up too much bed space with the buckets. I'll be sheeting around them and lineXing the bed for a stealth look. This truck is going to be a sleeper

Tire hum isn't that bad, IMHO. No different than putting on a performance muffler and having to listen to exhaust drone on the highway. Never really understood that objection, but to each their own. Guess I'm not one of the cool kids. MTRs just look like they would plug up instantly and not clean very well, but I suppose that's not that big a concern on rocks. Still, a lot of the extreme (trailer queen) rock crawlers are running Swampers and Boggers so they must do as well on rocks as they do in the mud.

Either way, it doesn't change the fact that your truck looks like it's going to be awesome! Bet there's not an awful lot of DDs out there with the heavy mods you've done. You cut that thing up like you were building a truggie and it's cool that you're going to put it back together to appear and function like a stock truck.

At any rate, I'll be interested to see if those ORIs can be a drop in replacement for the stock springs and struts on the front of a Taco...I mean without doing all the re-engineering you're doing. :D Although from what you've said they may be more expensive than a set of Eibachs and Billies. The benefits might be worth it though.

BTW, I was looking at the pictures and I noticed something. Those MT/Rs look semi-directional and I think the two on the passenger side are mounted on the wheels backwards. Not sure if that makes a difference on those or not. Just thought I'd point it out if it does.

Edit: Gah! Those things are just confusing. If mounted the other way, they would look really strange, but it does appear they would need to be to get the same type of traction on both sides. Unless they were made in a left and right side.
