    It says she was standing on the silver Jeep. I could understand if it knocked her off the silver Jeep but it says she was crushed by the orange Jeep. Only other thing I can think of was she was like standing on the passenger side steps or something and somehow managed to fall under the orange jeep when it flopped.

    not hard to drive up on a jeep's tires...I did it and didn't kill anyone :cool:

    wait what? I ran beads on all 4 sides of each tab on the outside of the bumper, but i didn't weld anything on the inside.

    i must be missing something. right behind each tow point is the main structural support that is attached to the frame. How else do you connect tow points besides welding them to the bumper? Do you have a pic of what you mean?

    Ill take one for you tomorrow of my front and rear bumpers. Mine have the 3/4" chunk of steel ran through the plate like 2-3" then welded to the plate on the inside of the bumper that's attached to the frame as well as welded to the front plate of the bumper. This basically links the recovery point to the frame. The way you have it it's just connected to the 3/16s pfront plate. That'll bend pretty easy after a good tug.

    Tow points SHOULD be fastened to the frame mount in some way. Either welded or bolted. Most bumpers will have the tow points going through the bumper

    Ill admit my front ones aren't as nicely placed as my rear ones..but they aren't bad. Work anyways. Tugged a damn ford out several times.
