I'm totally opposed to the BL, but if you need 1" to safely clear a larger tire than it could be argued ;)

I've considered this also. I wonder how a body lifts holds up bouncing around on the trails, and how it might affect the fitment of other after market components that expect the body to be in it's original place.

Does setting the 5100's to 3" stiffen the spring a lot? Maybe a 1" spacer with the 5100's at 2" wouldn't be a bad idea... (or 2.5" with a .5" spacer?) Just trying to avoid the F-650 ride quality.

I assume if your using a heavy urethane/similar product and grade 8 hardware it should hold up?

Spacer combo could be a good idea. I had the CO on my 95 cranked and the ride and flex was terrible. Spacer def coulda helped.

he drivers floor by the rocker well...where is was is gone, The bed is gone for a reason. Fenders are gone on the insides. Frame is mint only 65k on the truck. He plans keeping it stock height because it was $100. The exhaust rotted at the manifold so it runs manifold and breathing is quite hard lmao. Great beater and woods truck, We had cops waving at us today.

The trans is no sycro'd so it's a complete blast to drive double clutch or not on my behalf.

885x with 5100s and top plate spacer for full 3", RCD extended 5100s in rear, dakars, flip kit, LR UCAs, tint, shorty antenna, in channel rain guards,BHLM, blacked out emblem, OEM side steps, weathertechs, debadged, rear diff breather
I am not sure honestly how it would hold up for trails.....I go offroading maybe 5 times a year so I am not too concerned with it being a trail beast. Im going for 3" up front with 885x paired with billies at zero.......let the coil do the lifting. I'll prob add the toytec top spacer as well........out rear Im almost ready to pull the trigger on a set of expo standards because I have the longer billies for the rear that go with a 2"-4" lift. the expos will give me a solid 3" so Im hoping to keep the stock rake just jack the whole truck up 3". I'll consider the BL once I do that.

I don't plan on making mine a trail rig. I want a good balance of on road and off road. I feel my truck does pretty good with that right now. With what I've read, and what I have done for wheeling, I guess I'm really lucky I haven't broken my front shocks. I've also hit a couple good potholes, enough to need an alignment.

Looks like more coil, less spacer is the way to go. I don't mind some stiffness, I don't expect it to ride like a caddy. (I've had one, not a fan of the road feel, or lack there of) Most of the stiffness I have now is from the AALs. The heavy stall mat in the back helps with that.
