Mine have yet to peel. If you don't offroad and want them to last long I would suggest scuffing them up, priming, painting, and clear coating them.

If your going to beat them up, skip steps 1,2, &4 like I did with both of my sets :D

I'm bored so here's some pics

I would just hire someone on the side to fill in for you, they won't notice.:)

Ant, I am in the market for a high lift jack. Any suggestions on which one to buy or who to buy it from?

In that case I will save the $5.00 and buy a bike lock.

You can order the 60 and cut a little off the top and it will fit. And if you wanna wait I'm trying ti make homemade mounts. If they work ill build and sell you a set for cost plus shipping. (Maybe $30)

Bilstein 5100's on all four with some OME 885x's. Brute Force Fab front bumper. Warn winch. Koenig countersteers wrapped with duratracs.

i have a double cab short bed and i fit my 60 in it with mounts from ATO...all i did was take the loop piece on the end off of it. I think its the part where you would connect chains to use the high lift as a winch. Its one bolt and it comes off and sits in my tool box.

On another note this is a FYI for all you guys. Had some drunk break my windshield this weekend when I was parked down at the Phillies game while at Xfinity...anyways.. my Insurance company would not honor the claim for the windshield due to not having a "windshield policy." I have progressive, been a dual policy holder since 2007, never reported a claim, and have NICE policies that are not cheap/minimum.

Apparently they require you to purchase an additional package (for me it was 22 bucks to cover windshield damage with a zero deductible) It is NOT included in comprehensive coverage. They said my deductible is 500 for the windshield, when I told them thats more than a windshield itself, that's when this all really started getting me pissed. However if you buy insurance online (like I did) there is NO OPTION to purchase this said windshield policy. Therefore I knew I had a valid reason to fight for them to pay for it.

After chewing out 6 people, and finally getting to a supervisor claims adjuster, and threatening to file complaints with the PA Insurance Department, and filing a claim with the Attorney Generals Consumer Affairs Department (threw in that my boss just had lunch with the AG - didn't say current cause the guy has been retired for a while, but they are close friends) and told them my father is the executive producer for one of the biggest news stations in the country and is the last person who decides what stories get on TV.....the woman said well, we will cover it under a "one time exception" kind of deal.

Just wanted to give ya guys a heads up and if you don't know if its covered...go check. I was quoted just under 400 bucks to get it replaced. It would be worth your while knowing, cause 22 extra bucks would of saved me 2.5 hours this morning dealing with them on the phone.

Least they are fixing it for free

The worst that I've had happen to me so far is a bad door ding on my bed side, and coming back from a long trip some lazy f!#k couldn't take their trash to a trash can and thought my bed looked like one.
