Installed my bamf bpv bracket today

 

how so? I want a louder PA without toying with the CB function

 

Wired a 150 watt amp to the PA and CB

 

does this include opening up the cb? because I have the cheap compact cobra from walmart that wasn't meant to be opened up and toyed with lol

 

Nope haha just need a single channel sub amp around 150Watts
splitter that has a 3.5 headphone jack on one end and rca female ends on the other

Sprayed it down with PB blaster in preparation of my suspension install this weekend.

 

yesturday my truck got locked

with a TRD E locker axle assembly swap.

 

Are you able to run the summit wheels in front without wheel spacers?

 

Yes, i just had to 'gently' grind the caliper. I got the 3.75BS 15x8's.

Took the rim out to the truck before having the tires mounted. Pressed the rim on the hub and 'spun' it back and forth a few times. Removed it, made a few smooth light passes with the angle grinder up and down the length of the ( shape where the rim had 'scratched' a guide line. Rinse, repeat.

Keywords here are, "a few smooth light passes" with gentle pressure, keep the grinder moving semi-quickly up and down. Don't let it sit in one spot and don't be aggressive. After i got it to where it didn't appear to rub with me just pressing it on the hub, i hand-tightened three opposing lugs and repeated the process a couple times. Then finally, torqued all six lugs, spun it, removed it, cleaned up anything remaining and gave it just a bit of breathing room. Sprayed the caliper quick with some paint to fight rust and remounted my old 16 until i had my tires mounted

 

IDK about the d window ones he has the 8 hole Cragars will hit your brakes. I run mine without spacers but that is because I ground the dimples down on the back of all my rims.

 

Started making new doors, looks like I cut down about deep enough.

 

Yeah my pal has the Cragar soft 8's w/4" BS and he had to grind quite a bit more.

Awesome. That is the next big thing that I want to do. I just need to find another set of doors to cut on.

 

I performed the free keyless entry factory alarm mod for our 03-04 tacos. Only one white wire to unplug, are you kidding me...lol!?!?! A quick simple mod to unlock extra features giving you a factory toyota alarm.

While I was at it, I added the Glass Break Sensor /LED module to give me the full blown features of the factory alarm. More on how I did it here. I have to give extra thanks to member Smuook for the help and guidance!

 

It took me a few years to find doors that were cheap enough to chop.

 

A full OME setup. Does anyone know if wheelers is supposed to supply the shackle bushings with their OME kit? The front bushings are installed on the springs, but the rear has nothing as far as I can tell.

 

Welcome to the club... I killed my KM2 sidewall about a week ago now...
Pretty sure a stick hit one of my previous rock gashes. Then heat it up with 30 minutes on the freeway and stop on it at a stop sign and it basically burst open and did like you described yours. I got it patched but they don't think it will last long and is a blow out waiting to happen...

 

When I called Wheelers to price everything out they said the "shackle to frame" bushings are included in the kit.
