I finally installed my VVME Bi xenons and fogs....

I will take pics tonight. I got the 6000K version for both heads and fogs. They seem to look pretty good in the day time, hope they look well at night. One thing is for sure though and that is the beams are not even so they need to be adjusted.
I am going to take to a body shop to have them adjusted since they have the headlight adjustment machines.

 

Nice! Glad to see people buying from VVME. No need to waste money on $300 kits. You can adjust the lights yourself man lol. The headlight adjustment machine is a philips head screw driver. I just use my fingers.

 

Yeah I tried to adjust them last night, but they are not as good as I would like. I have OCD and if they are off just a hair I will be bothered.
The machine they use has a glass front with a graph for each light. The only thing I could see that would throw off your light using this method is if your truck is parked crooked.
My lights are pretty level, but for some reason they don't look like they are straight in front of me and they seem to look different at different angles, I know my head is playing games with me.

 

They actually are a pretty good quality kit.

I bought some on here on a group buy that I did not like as much and I tried these. The only thing I don't like about the VVME is the ballast is not a slim ballast, but for the price who can complain.

well here are the pics. For some reason the Hi beams are way off to the left when turned on. They also don't provide as much light as the low beams. I guess I paid extra for nothing.

sorry for the horrible pics, i used my iphone. They really don't glare that bad, but the hi beams are useless. I know it can't be a bulb problem because they both go way off to the left and up when I hit the high beams.
They should just go up and spread the light further.
Oh well they only cost like 90 bucks for a bi xenon kit.

 

How is the glare from the fog housings? I would assume the OE fog light would have a flatter beam for less reflected light in bad weather.

I have a bit of an obsession with HID lights (I know I know). I don't want a conversion for my primary headlamps but am concidering it for my fogs.

Do you get any noise in your stero when they are on? For the price I could get to play with them for a while. . .who knows?

 

Noise no, why would I have noise. We do not get bad weather in las vegas so I really can't comment on how they work in those conditions. They work great for lighting the road way better than stock.

 

I have heard that some of the cheaper ballasts "can" cause noise in your radio.
The website says "we label Made in Japan" but their ebay store is from Hong Kong? oh well glad you had good luck with yours.

 

I have only heard this happen in person on a buddy's 07. He has a $300 kit and it does it to his stock radio.

 

Mine are fine. I have had kits that cost 4 times as much and they certainly are no better. No sense spending more money.

 

had an ebay set in my srt4. whenever i was listening to my xm radio and turned on my headlights...i would get nothing but static.
it was weird

sincity, I might be talking out of my ass but I think i remember reading a thread that if your hi beams aren't working properly, you have to switch a plug in the balast

 

My high beams work, just they are a little offset to the left when activated. My low beams may not be aligned right though so I can't really tell. I don't need my high beams anyways.

Hey Viet, were did you get the headlight housing for your lights? Your lighting setup looks very nice! I saw two different kinds on Ebay with the CCFL lighting... One looked like it would work better with the eyelid covers you have, meaning your low beam projectors are on the outside... is this your setup?

The other housing had the projectors in the middle (or between the blinker and the high beam). I'm not a fan of this setup if I go with an eyelid cover.

SinCity, the lighting looks great coming out of your headlights! Do you have any clearer pictures?

I have the first ones in black. But I did not buy HIDs with it.
