    They are welded on in the strongest location, while keeping good clearance i wouldnt worry about pulling them off they are lined up with the frame too. If it happens it would be due to welds..

    Seems like a lot of KM2 failure lately and makes me happy i bought Goodyears..
    Edit: then again thats probably why they call it a good year cuz thats about how long they will last.

    ya, you were completley right in where you suggested welding them, i was being a derp. But what they are concerend with is it bending the actual bumper

    if it starts to bend well just fab in some new mounts and shit. go buy a sheet of 1/4" plate 12"X3' and well make that sucker stronger.. bring paint this time though.

    First off i never saw that and second speed limit?? Isnt that the Red spot on the speedometer in the truck?

    Yep. Wonder what he hit. I still think mine was a stick hitting a previous gash since there are two gashes overlapping. Then mix that with me stopping and putting weight on those gashes and I think it burst open...
    I am kind of set on my next set of tires being MTR's but I saw someone kill an MTR too... A fucking fork did it!! He said he had to scrap that tire and buy a new one.

    it went pretty well - a small doe jumped out at me on the North Fork, almost to the reservior, on my way home, and I was going 60-70, and slowed down to about 30ish when I hit her at the driver's corner of my ARB. NO damage, just hair and blood haha. The deer just rolled and got up and jumped away. I just continued on!

    Lisa: it's not my fault the deer hopped out in front of me. Her mommy wasn't around to say "DON'T CROSS THE STREET WITHOUT LOOKING!" :laugh: I did slow down after all!

    The ID people were whizzing past me as well as the UT's. I had a guy from OR pass me within the Yellowstone boundary on the way home (55mph limit there) and he had to have been doing 80 - caught up to me and starting honking the horn and flashing his lights because he couldn't pass me right then :rolleyes: . Then I caught up to him at a construction zone because he could only drive his dumb dodge truck 10 mph over the dirt and gravel (posted as 35mph)....so I started honking and flashing my lights at him :D

    I swear like half of the Idahoans anymore are from Cali and Utah and they all drive like a bat out of hell. Just try driving the speed limit in Salt Lake City and see how long it takes to get a traffic jam behind you. haha

    My wife said driving in Oregon wasn't bad at all, at least compared to other big cities. There were too many people but she said everyone in Portland were really nice and courteous drivers.

    yeah, my cousin is stationed down there. calls his commute to the base the mormon 500

    probably has to do a lot with the roads, flat/straight roads vs. hilly/twisted roads can make a big difference in your speed

    Check out this ad, says they are 39.5x11.50R17's but they look a lot thicker than that and Iroks don't come that skinny. Hell I don't think anything bigger than a 35 comes that skinny.
