That's cool stuff! I have a fencing project, I might have to do a bit more research on this option. I was going to just do concrete.

That is such bullshit. Who dug the holes, with what. Set the post up into the cement, no air or rotting, what bullshit .

 

Looks like a power auger was used to dig the holes. How is it bullshit, what's easier, a quart of liquid that you shake and pour into the hole or mixing concrete to put in the hole? Depending on the cost of this stuff, I'd give it a shot. The exaggeration on the posts rotting is crap though.

 

Seems like a cool product, but it has to be alot more expensive than concrete.

 

If someone came and dug the holes, supported the post, leaveled everything perfect, I'm fairly certain I could mix concrete and pour the holes as fast as they did. Not just 3 f'ing holes, a whole fence line of holes.
Cement = proven results,
chemical whatever that is... is what in 20 years. Gone?

It does set up faster, letting a person start the fencing a half a day earlier.

 

I think you're missing the point. This would be a quicker process than concrete and you can mix small batches at a time to only set the post you're working on at that moment. Gives you time to set the post, make sure it stays square and plumb before mixing the product for the next one. This product is not going to replace concrete, it's not meant to. All you're relying on this product to do is fill an air gap between the post and the dirt. Poured rubber would yield similar results.

 

Quikrete sells concrete you can just pour in the hole dry and fill it with water.

You can do that with any " just add water " concrete mix but the product you are referring to is called " Post Haste "

 

I wonder how difficult trimming excess would be from the top of the hole , if it is the consistency of 4lb spray foam that's pretty damn solid

 

Yes it does OZ, but lift the bottom of the post up into the cement, and build a little mound of concrete around the post at the top. No real water problems, no speeded up rotting. Still on the rag
