I'm not sure we'll make it in time for it so our spot may open up as well.

I'd pay to see that :D

I'm not familiar with White Rim but trails like Fins N Things (and Hells Revenge) are within Sand Flats Recreation Area so you have to pay a small fee, $10 for camping or $5 for just a day pass per vehicle or $10 for a week pass in order to get to them.

well for the ppl that didnt get added to trails im pretty sure people are going to go on other trails that same day cause some trails are short, depending on what time we finish a trail one day i might be down for another short trail run that same day, its not like where going to run one at 8am and finish and call it a day. Of course some trials are longer then other ones, but if you plan on running a short one i bet you can squeeze another trail in that same day :) just saying

these are not the only options for trails...this is for planning purposes for those who know what they're doing really.

there will be a marker board at camp used for trail signups the next day.

those who will not be staying at BFE would be best to utilize the early signup so they know where to meet and who they will be running with.

there are so many options to go explore over there, don't feel like you're shut out if you're not on one of these lists.

come see me at camp, i'll have print outs of most of the trails and i also have a trail book you can look at to help decide where you want to go.

and if a trail is full, with exception to the long trails like trifecta, just wait an hour or so and get another group together and run it. that will give some gap between groups to keep the trail flowing smoothly and not bunch us all up. also makes it easier for the trail leader to manage the smaller group and not a massive group...not to mention the blm permits needed for the massive groups.

if anyone has any questions, feel free to give me a call. three one five 5 two 9 9 four four three

awesome! glad you can make it over!

i am planning on doing white rim tuesday in a day...just start early and plan on finishing around sun down. the most common path is to start in canyonlands, take shafer trail down and continue around from there. that requires entrance fees.

you could also go in mineral canyon then end with shafer trail out or go out potash road (not sure if you hit the gates before mineral canyon)

or go up potash road into canyonlands that way. no ranger station that way.

reservations are for the campsites around the trail. i would guess they are all full at this point.

if you do it in a day, you have to be selective on the hikes you do

Bob plz move this to first page:

People remember to bring a little extra oil for Moab! Over filling the oil by half a quart helps alot with oil starvation at steep angles. over fill it when u get there, drain it when u get home.
