    I know. I bought it due to the fact it had gorilla glass installed on it. I have the otter box defender and commuter. I had two life proof cases where the water proof feature failed. I just like this case out of all of them the best.:)

    I have yet to try the new otterbox water proof case on the market due to the fact it looks like a small refrigerator.

    I hated the Defender on my Iphone5 , too big , too prone to trapping sawdust

    The Lifeproof isn't perfect but definitely protects the phone from dust and water and drops too , haha

    Good to hear. I've had the phone in a defender case since I bought it, and it scratched the top of my phone because it allows the phone to move inside the case.... Angers me that I get a case to keep the phone in perfect condition yet it caused damage. Tired of how dirty it allows my phone to get as well

    I just ordered a Lifeproof case last night for $30. Hopefully it'll be much better.

    If you got it for $30, you probably got it off of Amazon. Be careful about that. I told one of my friends to get one, so she got it on Amazon, then had a warranty issue with it. She called Lifeproof and they told her it wasn't a legit Lifeproof case. Serial number didn't match anything they had. Apparently no one on Amazon is authorized to sell "official" Lifeproof products. I thought it was weird because the quality of the case didn't seem as good as mine when she got it in.

    The good news is, I ran over mine with an F350 and have dropped it numerous times and the phone is in perfect condition.

    Hmm, I ordered mine through Ebay... It did say it was a Lifeproof case too... If it doesn't look correct or doesn't pass the waterproof test I'm definitely going to return it...

    Also, yes it was for an Iphone 5.
