    Ditto.

$500 is a fair price for the Mini-H1 retrofit. For $200 more, Ants does the FXR, which can run the 55w burners without issue.
Those Mini-H1 (and the D2S) will melt from 55w.

Also, that seller has like 11% negative FB over the last 30 days.

Ordering soon, doing this for my dads Tacoma as a gift, looks sweet. How hard was it for those of you who did it themselves? I'm very handy and can get almost any tools within reason.

EDIT: Wow, the guy a few posts is doing the same, weird. Let me know how your dad likes it once its done gsla72.

We'll see how it turns out. I think we're going to try them as an auxiliary light to aid in trail lighting to replace the not so great fogs that are on there.

Buy some retros people, this is a really good deal, and if you do our orders will ship sooner.:dancingbacon:

Just recounted total may be 6 if I counted correct but I am not too sure. I'm sure Andrew will let us know soon.

what did I stumble on here? is this an on going group buy? I see the original post was a while ago but everyone keeps putting up counts of buyers for some reason?

I was interested in upgrading my headlights. but I dont have a clue about the options for retro projectors??

do you have "halo" options available? I really like that look. Also, what is different than purchasing something through slim cubby??

Yes, this is an ongoing buy. There are lots of options for your upgrades, check the first page for info, there you can see what the discount applies to. There are halo options available for almost all of the kits. If you go onto the website you can see. Do some research on what you want first and how much work its going to be, I have been doing that for a few weeks now, and there are so many options its incredible. There are currently 3 people in the buy so we need 7 more, I just confirmed this from TRS. I have no clue who slim cubby is, but this group buy is direct from TRS and there is no problems with people backing out of the buy.

It may still be cheaper to order through here because of the group discount.

I don't even think Slimcubby is still around... :notsure:

Regardless, he does not sell projector components only drop in HIDs. I can also confidently say that the quality of parts coming out of the doors of TRS is much greater than those being sold elsewhere. I have had DDM, ebay, futurevisionHID, ********** <<<Why can't I talk about GG? (still working well on my offroad vehicles), and even simcubby HID units for different projects and I can confidently say that I will never put cheap components into my main lights ever again. When I jump in my truck I never have to worry about if a ballast is gonna not fire or if that bulb won't light...

Don't short yourself. Go with TRS now to avoid hassles in the future.
