i let my permit expire and am gonna have to renew it, from reading this my understanding is, since i held my permit for 6 months as soon as i get my permit i can apply for my license.
does anybody else understand it different?
moms gonna call the DMV tomorrow, but i'd like to know tonight.

 

Used to be get your permit at 15.5. Turn 16 take your test, get your license. I grew up in the Imperial valley though so I was driving around with my permit despite having anyone else in the vehicle. When I signed up for Drivers training the teacher asked what I was doing driving to school already...

 

i got my permit 2 months after turning 15 1/2, i was gonna go in for my license ASAP but i only had 15 of the required 40 (?) hours, i had my 10 hours of night driving, but other than driving up to my cousins house (25 minutes away each way) i didn't drive in the day, i have no friends ('cept family, and friends from other states), and i was homeschooled (just graduated a few months ago).

I learned to drive when i was 7, we were in texas, dad was building a hanger for his plane and didn't have anything for me to do, so he taught me how to drive, and i went out in a field and learned how to do doughnuts.

 

I've got pulled over at 13 pulling 10k of hay.. Jim Bob asked where I was going, after I told him he said my trailer lights were out.

My reply was "I don't have any".

He said "makes sense then, have a good day".

Aw, good ole missouri. I couldn't imagine jumping thru these hoops for a license.

Quick question for all you people with 2nd gens Can you measure the top of the windshield (for banner placement) from driver to passenger and let me know what the measurements are please I don't have my truck at the moment

Wow. That was harder than I thought it would be- measuring with only myself to hold the tape. I read roughly 50" from the inside of the rubber trim to the other inside, but I can get ya a better one a tad later when I have someone to help me.

 

Soooo, Miller Jeep trail remains closed due to fires, may or may not reopen soon.
Anyone up for Corral Canyon this weekend? I still think I can get my truck done in time. Probably gonna camp at CC or Bobcat

Trying to get a banner ordered, I carpool and didn't drive my truck today.

 

If I didn't have to work I'd be there! Got the whole week off but gotta work this weekend hahaha.
