Weekend after. Hope you get some good weather. I'm personally excited about the drive there myself. Will enjoy the relaxation, but the trip is half the fun.

Probably take 56 as much as I can, going to try and avoid 4:00 Friday afternoon traffic through the city and just go around. 42S to 56E should get me pretty set up.

-Been there a gabillion times, no interest in ever going back even though it's probably been 10+ years since I've been, new rides won't get me to go back.

    -Never heard of it.

-Not been there, in the Cincy area I think.

-Grew up on it (on the weekends). Sorta explains why I was at CP a gabillion times.

    -Seen plenty.

    -Not a drinker.

Sent a PM your way. Always good to have TW contacts wherever out and about in a new area/state.

Honda seems to have a good standing with Ohio. There is a bigger dealer up there and there are several car assembly plants scattered around the state.

    Dear, Ohio:

I would drive hundreds of extra miles, in horribly inconvenient U-shapes, simply to avoid driving through your grueling flat-voidness

and since when were you in the "Mid-West"

I believe that the Sea World in Ohio closed up over 10 years ago. I used to do the swim for diabetes thing and get free tickets. They had to change the venue for the awards ceremony because one of them closed.

Thanks man, I'll hit you up when I get some time.

That's what I've heard. They hired 2 graduates from my tiny school alone this year. Definitely a good thing to be a part of right now.

Never got the mid-west thing myself...Ohio is quite east.

I like driving around the state personally. Living in the city you get used to crap everywhere you look. Get out on some of the State Routes and realize that there is a bunch a space that hasn't been totally raped by buildings and parking lots. Like trees and fields and woods and shit.

lol, it is quite void outside most cities in Ohio but I think that is the appealing part of the state, it's so easy to get out and away from the masses and just enjoy the view or a take a short drive to a state park. Once you get East of Columbus though and past the Pickaway plains are the beautiful rolling foothills of the Appalachians which gradually build up to the Ohio River and into some good elevation which can take you to the Shenandoah mountains and then south to the Great Smokies. Those have always been my favorite getaway vacation spots, just a cabin in the woods with no one around.

Solid weekend at the Lake Hope cabins.

Decent trip Friday night down. Took 42 to 56 in London and 56 over to 278. Little trafficky and very windy first half, Pretty good driving once through London with several scattered idiots on the road.

Hung around Saturday morning. Bought a good size pile of wood for $10, grabbed a beer(s) and plopped my ass in front of a fire all afternoon/evening. Stayed in a nice state of buzzed, had the Ipod speaker thing going. Stare at some trees.

Cleaned up, couple walks this morning, Eli was ready to go home. Headed back @ 11. I liked the 56 drive better than 33 back home, but in the interest of time and having Sienna with me....

    Truck ran great, did great.
