    I can see the Torts system working to get a team deep in the playoffs for a coach coming into his 1st yr with a team... (see TB Lightning 1-3-1 system in 2011 - the TB defense sucked so they ran 1-3-1) but it's kind of a shot below the belt to a GM if you're not the 1st yr coach of that team. Torts has been in NY for a few years. He should've had discussions with Sather on what he thought was needed. I think Sather did an awesome job at the deadline filling grit back into the line up with Clowe and Dorsett amongst others.

    I don't want to keep pointing the finger at the coach but jesus you have Richards on the 4th line, maybe you wanted to send a message to the whole team with that move but was it the right message and the right time?
