If you're talking about mudding, the only places I went through mud is on designated off road parks or I had to go through mud to get to the other end of a trail. I never rutted a mud hole out more unless it was on an off road park.

I know that feeling! In my 96 Tacoma I had, we went to an off road park and my radiator got coated in mud because I didn't have a fan shroud at the time. Driving back home and it started overheating, so I had to use Gatorade and a grill brush to try to clean it off.... Haha Oh, being a silly teenager :D

Installed new thermostat with jiggle valve at the six of clock position. Temps went from 203 to 188-190. I'm happy.

Nice! I pulled my friends 9" lifted bronco out once when it was on the frame, and a couple of times when it was stuck with my little 2.7 96. After that he had a lot of respect for Toyota's ;)

Today I installed my CB radio and antenna!

I wanted to be able to remove the radio as I don't think I will be using it all that often, so I used velcro to mount it to the left of the steering column and routed the wires through the hood release latch.

Your grill and bumper look badass. So do your wheels, and your rack. Gosh dammit, your whole truck looks badass. Makes me want to start painting.

nerp, I actually am not a fan of plastidip at all. I tried it and just didn't like it. Right now my grille is primered then painted with rustoleum flat. My fenders have nothing on them.

After this weekend my grille and flares will both be painted with duplicolor bedarmor (actually more of a textured paint than bedarmor). So we'll see how that turns out.

Let us know how that works out for you brother, I have a tool box that I want to spray that stuff on, and my badges.

I liked plastidip when I used it on my first Tacoma, but when I used it this time it just didn't seem to apply as well. I'm probably going to spray my bumpers with some Rustoleum bedliner soon. It seems like all spray cans have crappy spray nozzles now... :notsure:

I used it in my old Suzuki Samurai and my buddy, 01GreenTaco, actually used it about a month ago and its holding up great. I just know you have to scuff up the surface pretty good to get a good base for the bedarmor. Stuff works great, cant wait to see what it looks like this weekend

VHT has the best nozzle for painting like wheels IMO. Duplicolor and Rustoleum have good nozzles for everything else. All the other spray can nozzles suck

Hows the finish up close? I've seen some rattlecan'd bumpers and grills that just look sloppy and cheap. Did you apply any sealant coat on them?
