    4) bend the shit out of the whole mount :p

    Or...

1)Incorporate MJP2 style cam tabs that also gusset the entire LCA mount, never worry again

Hey guys this strange squeak just started happening in my steering wheel. Its coming from the steering wheel for sure but no vibes or handling issues. And it only squeaks when turning left, any ideas? Just got me kinda concerned since I'll be in the desert the next three days, thanks!

damn flux capacitor fell outta sync. hate when that shit happens.

but really though, does it do it while it is parked but the engine is running (basically when its sitting yet the engine is still powering the steering box so its easier to turn. if so, park that thing, disassemble the plastic around the column, and have someone turn it while you get your ear in there. if need be, use a mechanics stethoscope if its still hard to tell. will pinpoint that squeeky u joint or bushing no issue.

Thats what I thought as well. It literally sounds like a spring binding too. The horn hasn't worked for a couple months.

Lol, yeah it does it while driving and sitting still.

I'll take it apart tonight and see where that goes

What an alignment shop did to my truck and didn't tell me, I went back like 10 mins after I noticed it and they told me that it was because I beat the shit out of my truck in the 10 mins it took me to get back to the shop. Then they tell me that my truck wouldn't align right and thats why they flattened them. I bent them back over welded the backs and aligned the truck my self on their machine and got my money back.

    Wow!..

If your cams are maxed out just from a potentially shotty alignment job there might be issues somewhere else in your front end. What are your alignment numbers?

My horn stopped working, but cruise control still worked for a while....now neither work. Makes a funky lil noise too. Dam clock springs.
