Suffice it to say, he has a non-trd prerunner. lol. im not conveying my point correctly which is causing some confusion.

Prerunner DCSB exist. (SR5, TRD, etc)
a 2WD non prerunner DCSB does not exist.

This is silly to argue about but that is not true.

Prerunner just means it's a 2wd 6-lug with the taller suspension. You can have a base prerunner, sr5 prerunner or TRD prerunner.

But my engine, because it is the SR5, is the v-6 turbo charged EcoBoost engine with the v-8 option to turn off to four cylinders so the iDrive doesn't have to work as hard when it is using X-Drive mode on hills so it can achieve Earth Dream Status.

My Shaniqua don't play no games.

    this and that...
might or might not fix your situation, look into getting wet okoles. i know they are just seat covers. but they are made out of wet suit material and while it fits the seat like a glove, it gives you that extra comfort for shock protection because the neoprene is a little thick. might be just enough to help you out.

I have the limited, and, I love my seats!!! I agree though, there should be more adjustment for the price we pay for these trucks! I guess if people are willing to pay and, do without features that should easily be standard on a truck in this price range, why should they? That's my one biggest gripe with Toyota. They have some of the most loyal customers, but they choose to skimp on things, that most car manufactures include as standard! I don't know why, Toyota's aren't cheap! You pay top dollar!!sorry for the rant!

I was originally looking at the 4 cyl DC and noticed there was no gas mileage difference, but a huge resale and power difference. So I went with the v6.

The TRD seats are leaps and bounds over the regular seats. I had a non TRD loaner tacoma and couldn't stand those seats. I've never understood skimping on seats. It's basically the main component that you use in your vehicle.

Hey, I've got an idea. Lets build an awesome vehicle, but f@ck the seats. They're over rated.

I still don't get it. I love the truck, but if I drive for 10 minutes and my ass/tailbone is sore for 2 hours then there is a problem. My girlfriend's 07 Civic is so much more comfortable... on to washing my mouth out with bleach after saying that.
