I will have to look at the tire size again, but told them I wanted to keep the same size of ~31.5" tall. For some reason, 265/70 or 265/75 sticks in my craw, but I have a lot of other useless information up there also!

It will be! I had to do the same with mine. But when its done and installed, the ride and flex is way better then a single AAL. :)

That's because 265/70/16 is stock size for the OR and 265/65/17 is stock size for the the sport.

Going up by '5' on that middle number will add a teeny bit without needing to swap from stock rims or get a lift.

If you want 31.5", then you will want a 265/70/17. Use the link in my sig for the tire calculator to play around

    smooth dude lol

Congrats to you guys on the win. We broke a rear knuckle mount and destroyed our inner CV joint in endurance. Had to weld up a new one at that nifty welding station but lost a good 3 hours of the endurance race because of the CV joint. Sucks because we were posting 6ish minute lap times, woulda done pretty good.:(

Luckily, not me endo-ing it lol. That would be the team captain. haha. He ran out of tear offs and managed to smear his goggles trying to get the mud off. Hence, didn't see the jump and didn't take his foot out of the gas.

And thanks! We got nervous after endurance, neither car finished. Ah, shitty. I wondered where you guys went. There was some pretty gnarly carnage getting towed off the endurance course. That's not a bad lap time at all! How where you guys doing in the other events.

Our 2012 car never got fast in endurance. Turns out we lost a few CVT weights during the race and it wouldn't shift properly and 2nd gear got weird on us.

Our 2013 car got pretty slow after a few laps. Turned out the engine went bad and grenaded itself with 40ish minutes left in endurance.

We had a great comp. except for endurance. That event just didn't go right for us at all. Probably the first time in a decade an OSU car hasn't finished endurance, iirc.

We pulled the 2012 car out of endurance and swapped it's engine into 2013 within 16 minutes.

In the chaos of the swap we managed to break the oil cap off. That engine called it quits within the 1st lap back in the race. However, it was the fastest lap of our day until then haha.

And just a couple pics for the heck of it.

We got 15th in accel, 19th in hill, 12th in rock, and really really bad in maneuverability, driver got lost and went off course, twice  He was promptly swapped out.

The car would have held together if I hadn't been a retard and properly placed a fender washer on the mount. Hard to explain but that is all it needed. Also another full retard moment, we forgot our extra CV's in Socorro, but Michigan was kind enough to give us an inner joint that didn't fit the splines on our axle shafts. I welded the inner ball race to the shaft and slapped it all back together but by then there was about 20 minutes left.

We ended up with an embarrassing 7 laps.

Saw the smoke show by the way

Not sure if you saw us cruising hella flush after saturday's events

also here's our tow rig if you didn't get a chance to check out the tire de-lamination carnage
    [IMG]

That happened near La Grande Oregon, then on the way back we had the inner dully tire go flat on us and had to plug it at a gas station, also in Oregon! That place is cursed!:D

Here's a cool pic I got of you guys putting a spanking on McGill.

Do you guys change oil base upon miles or months? I change mine base on miles. When it is near 5,000 miles I get it done and it usually is about 5 months.

I shoot for 4500 miles. I think the month way is kinda stupid. The oil wont degrade any significant amount in the time frame.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
7500 on synthetic for now. 5k conventional. Next change I'll have it treated at 7500 see if I can go longer
