I did survive, I'm back home now lol. Back to work tomorrowsssssssss...... shit.

 

Shingles and turbines. I'm switching from turbines to flush mounts... I know I could save a ton of cash doing it myself, but I don't have the knees/back/time to do it.

 

Pay for the shingles, do the turbines yourself later? might save you some money

 

Got into Harrisburg about an hour ago. Drove here in thunderstorms most of the way. First time I have had to pull off the highway and wait out a storm, couldn't see. Heading to southern Virginia in the morning.

 

Insurance is paying

I'm just trying to save some of the labor costs to pocket some of it. Need a bigger deck and save some cash for when Erica decides she doesn't want to work in Seattle for a bit.

Ridge vent instead of turbines Depends on how steep the roof is whether I'll get up on it

for a safe trip. I don't like driving in that kind of rain either, especially when some folks aren't smart enough to slow down

gonna have to come up with something... I'm hoping a high back bed will fix the issue or I've thought of putting a piece of bead board / paneling to protect the wall.

But, reading reviews snow can blow up in them? I'm torn between ridge vent, and regular louvres. I plan on getting rid of the turbines since we get so much weather here they get beat up pretty good.

 

You can get them with snow mesh and active wind foils , I have that on mine

Nope. All they need is receipts here showing the work was accomplished. Whether I bought it or they did. Like the fencing, I can do all the fencing work myself so I don't need to pay a contractor to do it.

Neighbor is doing all his siding himself. People down the street are changing their own windows.
