Just spent 5 days traveling around Vancouver, Tofino, and Victoria. Really liked Vancouver and Tofino, and Victoria was nice as well..

One question..All around Vancouver Island, we saw signs protesting against a coal mine. Where is that purposed? I'm very interested in environmental concerns, so it intrigued me.

    yes.

    ok, fine.

assuming the 15, 17, and 18 year old clubbed 21, 22, and 22 seals respectively

$3500 in total fines = $53.85 per clubbing

400 hrs total in community service (15 and 17 year olds) = 9 hrs 18 minutes per clubbing

2 years probation (18 year old) = 33.18 days per clubbing

    65 seals total, not each

    $1000 / 65 = $15.38
    200 hrs / 65 = 3 hrs 4 minutes

    this ^^^ is wrong

So I walk into a Jack in the Box (burger joint) here a couple days ago and see four or five bikers (looked more like weekend warriors) eating at one of the tables. I grab some tacos and head over to a table which places them behind me. As I'm eating, they finish up and walk past me on their way out. That's when I notice their vests say they're with a cycle club in Kelowna, BC.

When I was finished cramming my hole full of greasy shit, I got up and cleared my table which, unless your a scummy bastard, is the norm around here. That's when I noticed that not one of the Canuckians cleaned up after themselves, and left their shit covering two tables. Is this normal for folks from around there or were these just assholes?

Kinda what I figured, but different places sometimes have different customs. And yes, there's Americans that do that down here too.
