Eh, depends on the truck. I liked my 96 without flares, but to me this truck looks better with flares. Plus too much tire is sticking out for me without the flares, if I hit any bit of mud it'll end up like this! Haha or at least that's how it went with my 96.

If 98-04s didn't have holes in the fenders they would all look better without flares.

I know it shouldn't technically do anything different for the engine but who am I to argue with what it's telling me

I've run 2 cans of sea foam since I've owned her (DEC 2012) and didn't see any change at all. Changing the fuel filter made the biggest difference and I still need to get around to changing the pump.

At my next oil change I'm going to be doing the vacuum line draw and oil to clean everything out.

With 220k on the clock I'm nervous though.

I figure for $5 extra a tank to see if the trend continues I might as well.

    Eh, I don't know...

I used to think that they looked better without flares until I got my 03... Haha

It looks better I think. But you'd have holes in the fenders so it doesn't look good for you.

98-00's don't have holes in the fenders... only 01-04s.

Pretty sure 98-00 are similar to 01-04s with clips through the fenders unlike 95-97 which have bolts and brackets on the inside of the wheel well

Like I said, I liked my 96 without them, but I don't like my 03 without them.

I guess I see enough cars running around with 13" Dayton's sticking out to make me not like the look.

You don't count! Haha if/when I go 35's I'll probably take them off. Your tires stick out a lot! what's the width on those? Your running spacers?

They are 12.5s. 1" spacers I ink out front.

If you look at the rears they aren't as far out.

Not any wider then most of us with 12.5s and spacers.

But I swear it's just the 35s that make em seem sooooo much bigger haha
