    I've worked on subies for over 10 yrs
    Check your dipstick 3x/wk & rec using Motul 5W40, tune it ASAP w/ Cobb AP, and watch out for 3rd cylinder...they tend to detonate being furthest from the oil pan which brings me to my next point, upgrade to an STI oil pan & killerbee oil pickup. (stock ones have always been for shit)
