    Thanks! :D

Just get some Trail Gear sliders. Inexpensive. I beat the crap out of mine and they last. I actually thought about getting ones with a kickout but I was worried they'd get hung up on things.

True, I say get what you truly want. I was tempted just to get a set of trail gear sliders, but I like the Relentless ones better because of the kick-up.

Same goes for bumpers, the All Pro plate bumper is cheaper, but I like the Elite's a lot more.

I had more trouble with the rear bumper. I saw ones I kind of liked but were way to expensive and others were affordable but not very good looking or had design flaws I didn't like.

I got lucky and found a guy selling a CBI rear bumper in Wyoming (awful drive but worth it lol) for $200. Found the same one on the website a while back (since they custom make most of them) for $800! I was happy.

Nice, my rear bumper will probably be the most expensive part. Easily over $1,000.

I want an Elite bumper with all of the options, plus a tire gate. But I'm not sure if Tim will make another one with a tire gate after making Monte's... Plus I want to go all aluminum.

My front bumper is going to run about $1200.... Haha All aluminum.

Haha yeah, might as well get what I want instead of settling for something cheaper and regret it later.

I already want a different suspension set up...

I know what you mean. I want to re-build both bumpers and add a bunch to my bedcage, but it works right now so I don't want to take the time to make new ones.

Ah aluminum. I can kind of understand it for a front bumper since they usually don't get messed with too much but I never understood it for sliders. Seems too soft.

What I think is cool though (I'm not sure of the name, I saw someone talking about it on another forum and need to find it again) is the plastic cutting board-like material buggies are starting to use for "sliders". We went with a guy today that had it. They slide over everything.

    EDIT

    Apparently they are polyethylene sheets.

Oh I'm not going aluminum for sliders. I don't know if anybody even make aluminum sliders? :notsure:

Yeah, I like the plastic material. But I don't have the means of making my own. I may go aluminum for skids, they work good for the occasional off roading like I'll be doing.

Doesn't make sense for sliders. Its kind of sticky too, as in, it doesn't slide easily across other materials

    I doubt it
