I do prefer the Powerstroke and Cummins. It's probably because I have a friend that thinks the D-Max is the God of all motors. His reference? The episode of Top gear...

Yeah, I can't decide if I'd rather have an 06-07 Duramax or a 07.5-10 Duramax

Haha I would definitely not say that the Duramax is the best hands down. Every one has something that's better than the others.

Haha I'd say if Toyota were to choose between the three, they'd go Cummins. They've talked in the past.

I would get the LML duramax with a urine delete. Every revision of the duramax has yielded more power, so I would just start with the best and build it to the extreme. I'm a chevy fan boy. Proud of it too.

True, they haven't done any drastic changes for a while. They just add on to what works.

I'm the same my dad ran Chevy for as long as I could remember. He had a 95 Tacoma one year, but sold it for a brand new 04 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. It was his first new truck and he had to put it in the shop every week... After that he got a Tundra, then a Tacoma and has been a Toyota guy ever since.

I've followed in his footsteps. I've had two Tacomas and a Chevy so far haha

I will never drive anything that's not Toyota unless it's a Duramax or a BMW. Haha

I wanted a Lexus IS-F250 for so long, Such a sick fucking rig. Older m3-m5 BMWs are nice though.

I consider Lexus and Scion Toyota. I'm really liking the BMW's I've seen lately. I wouldn't mind an m3, or even an X5 for the future wife haha

Toyota had their own Diesel back in the day. kinda useless in such a small truck then though. And Toyota(or any other pickup truck) could pick up the Cummins from what I understand. Dodge's "lease" or whatever claims that no other truck can run it.

BMWs are a nightmare to work on from what ive heard though. Guess if you can afford a BMW you can afford a 500 dollar 4 hour of work that normally takes 2 lol

Hmm, I don't know. I just know that Toyota was talking with them at some point a while back.

I've heard this too, but they are great vehicles.

I have 3 main families of vehicles I'll buy. GM, Toyota, and Honda. Nothing else. I've driven a lot of vehicles and settled on these for overall satisfaction.
