    also new travels plans, one in our party's work schedule changed some stuff. we leave boise at about 9:30, drive down and spend the night in SLC, get up bright and early and drive to moab tuesday morning.

    A small handful of select mods.
    I just did new pads up front and went the cheaper ceramic toyota pads instead of OEM. Now my front pads squeak. Must be the ceramic.
    I totally agree. Mine had some cracks in them (not all the way through yet) near the axle side clamp on the inside. I cleaned off the boot, filled the cracks with gorilla glue and let dry. :D

    Should be good for ten more years now and 25hp. :p

    1st post- that's what my brother said the previous owner probably did. I bought Napa's best hybrid pads but looks like I don't need them for a while so ill just hang onto them till I need them.

    Oh and SPC sent me a product update for their LR UCAs (new washers and grease) but they won't even fit. Pulled out that big ass bolt just to find out that the new washers won't fit and the factory stuff was just fine. I was not happy about wasting that much time with all this crap to do, but oh we'll, it felt good to check stuff off the list of prep

    I got tired of replacing torn CVs. I ripped 3 in like 3 months so I've just been running my ripped one for probably close to two years now haha. Still working like a champ but I always have a spare just in case.

    i bought my brake pads from autozone, i got the duralast gold with the lifetime warranty and i have never had the problem with squeaking im on my 3 pair that i have used and never squeaked.

    really ? ive had my truck for 3 yrs now and im still running the same cv's, i recently checked them and they look perfect.

    do you have manual lockers in the front or no ??? wouldnt that help a little? cause your cv wouldnt be spining with the tire all the time right ?

    Yeah I'm uncool and don't have front locking hubs lol. I wanted to get one with it but my truck had everything else I wanted and loved the color and was super cheap so couldn't resist. You're correct in that it does help since they wouldn't spin all the time.
