Im thinking about sending my pup to doggy daycare, my dad doesnt want to watch him any longer because he eats all his landscape and digs like a nut. I work 24hr shifts and dont really want to leave him home alone for so long and found a daycare that lets them play all day and only crates them up at night, and requires all dogs be fully vaccinated

anyone have any experience with this kind things?

I used to send my husky to doggy day care but it was only for the day. Never an overnight.

I live in a mecca for dog lovers so some of these places are unbelievable experiences for dogs.

Just make sure to really vet the place you leave your dog. Not to be a sensationalist or fear-mongerer but some of the crappy places in town (that are now shut down) have had deaths under their watch due to negligence.

We take our dog one day a week, it's only $10 for the day and we feel it helps keep her socialized around other dogs. The folks that run the kennel are our friends so we know she's in good hands. It's good for her to get the exercise, she comes home pooped.

We would do this with our dogs sometimes when we would go somewhere over the weekend. It really just comes down to the place. I'd talk to some other dog owners in the area that have dealt with different places.
